Spice Operator - 2nd ShiftStarting Rate: $20 per hour Position Overview Bilinski's Sausage Mfg. Co. is seeking an experienced food manufacturing employee for our spice weighing and blending operations in Cohoes, NY. Responsibilities: - Weighing out spices according to recipes in a timely manner to support daily operations of the kitchen - Maintaining spices on a FIFO basis - Completing necessary batch paperwork with accuracy for each batch - Maintain proper identification on all ingredients - Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly spice room environment following company policies - Conduct a weekly rotating spice inventory by Friday of each week Requirements: - Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently. - Must have the ability to read, write, and preform simple math calculations to accurately measure correct amounts of ingredients. - Basic computer skills, job requires operating a computer and a tablet computer. - Great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. - The ability to follow safety standards in an industrial kitchen. Billingual encouraged Benefits: Paid time off, medical & dental insurance and Simple IRA match are available HOURS: 2nd SHIFT - Mon. - Fri. 3:00pm until finished with mandatory overtime as daily schedule requires. Weekends off. NOTE: We have a no facial hair policy and no jewelry policy for all production and warehouse positions.
