Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential support in an early childhood school setting located in Bolingbrook, IL. This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite full time, with consideration for part-time candidates who meet the qualifications. The role requires direct interaction with young students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders to support their academic and social development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments for early childhood students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress Provide effective speech therapy services solely onsite in the school environment Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with program standards Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings related to student care and educational planning Required Qualifications: Valid SLP certification with eligibility or current licensure for school-based practice Experience working with early childhood populations in school settings Must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate Proficient in teletherapy practices is a plus, but onsite service delivery is mandatory for this role Ability to work independently without support from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educational teams and families Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois (onsite only) This is an excellent professional opportunity for a skilled SLP committed to early childhood speech and language development in a structured school environment.
