We are currently looking for passionate individuals to apply for the Resident Care Assistant and STNA positions, also commonly known as State Tested Nursing Assistant, CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, Nursing Aide, Nurse’s Aide, and Care Provider. What do Resident Care Assistants and STNAs do at Danbury? Engage with residents and assist them in their activities of daily living. Support residents with personal care routines, including showers, bathing, and hygiene. Help prepare residents for meals and escort them to activities, social programs, and appointments. Assist residents with various daily needs as necessary. What experience or skills are needed to be a Resident Care Assistant or STNA? STNA certification is required for STNA positions. No certification is needed for Resident Care Assistant roles. Experience in a similar capacity within a Senior Living setting is advantageous, but not mandatory. A positive attitude, cheerful disposition, and love for seniors are essential.
