Electronic Security Technician

We are seeking technically skilled individuals with a background in low voltage electronics focused on electronic security solutions. Our technicians play a key role in providing service on ST products at customer locations, handling post-installation issues and special project work when necessary. Key Responsibilities: Address trouble tickets to ensure system uptime and performance. Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve application issues Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to enhance application availability and identify faults. Perform routine configuration changes (e.g., user permissions, application settings). Document system modifications using a digital change control tracking system. Create quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences outlining system deployment. Carry out thorough pre-deployment testing for all upgrades and major modifications. Implement on-site installations of software upgrades and significant changes. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment. Strong knowledge of commercial access control systems, CCTV, burglary alarms, intrusion systems, and fire alarms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with network communications and IP addressing. Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong time management capabilities. A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control systems are a plus.
