Refrigeration Maintenance Specialist

Join Our Growing Team! A leading manufacturer is looking for a skilled Refrigeration Maintenance Specialist to enhance our production and facility operations. In this crucial role, you will ensure equipment reliability through proactive maintenance and expert troubleshooting, ultimately minimizing downtime and promoting a safe and efficient workplace. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and processing machinery Read and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Maintain refrigeration and utility systems including compressors, pumps, condensers, heat exchangers, ammonia and Freon systems Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective countermeasures Assist in parts ordering and maintenance inventory management Execute minor facility and grounds maintenance tasks Complete necessary safety checklists and adhere to strict safety protocols Identify and propose continuous improvement initiatives Provide workflow guidance to ensure production output is met Required Qualifications: 6-8+ years of industrial maintenance experience At least one recognized maintenance certification (electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, or reliability) Proficiency in performing electrical and electronic systems maintenance independently Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety procedures Preferred Qualifications: Multiple technical or maintenance certifications PLC certification Advanced refrigeration certification High school diploma or GED What You Bring: A strong safety mindset High mechanical and electrical aptitude Rapid problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to stay alert and responsive in a production environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
