Entry-Level Cable Technician

Responsibilities: Support senior technicians in the installation and setup of cable systems, including internet, telephone, and alarm services. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve technical issues. Work collaboratively with the team to conduct testing and quality assurance checks on cable connections to ensure optimal performance. Follow industry safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe work environment. Manage tools and equipment, keeping them organized and well-stocked in the company-provided work truck. Deliver excellent customer service by effectively communicating with customers and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning opportunities. Requirements: Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must be at least 23 years old. Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings. Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs, comfortably using a ladder to work at heights up to 30 ft, and work in tight spaces/attics. Basic knowledge of cable systems and components is preferred but not essential. Adaptable to various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Availability for a flexible work schedule, including weekends. Employee Compensation and Benefits: Earning potential ranges from $800 to $1,200 per week after training, plus a $500 sign-on bonus. Paid training program to equip you with essential skills.
