Automotive Service Technician - All Levels

If so, Rock Hill Ford wants you on our team!Salary Range: $50,000-$100,000/year depending on experience.What we offer:  $25,000 bonus every 5 yearsPaid trainingFree Health insurance Option AvailableDental, Vision Insurance 401k Options Available with match Paid Vacations and PTOFlexible schedulesState of the art facilitiesEmployee purchase plans Available Positions: Quick Lube TechnicianEntry-Level Service TechnicianExperienced Service TechnicianDiagnostic Technician Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities Check and communicate oil level to teammatesEnsure tire pressure for proper inflationInspect and refill fluid levels as necessaryComplete vehicle inspectionInstall a new oil drain plug and a new oil filterClean and lubricate fittings as neededProviding excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first Service Technician Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications Mechanical and troubleshooting skillsPositive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentalityEnjoy working in a fast-paced environmentTeam player with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsAble to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordWilling to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check The Krause Auto Group has been in business for over 30 years, and we contribute our longevity to our focus on both customer and employee satisfaction.
