Aperio Global LLC - Washington, DC
Apply NowJob Description
ServiceNow Portal Expert - Remote (with some onsite in Washington, DC) Clearance Required: SecretAperio Global is looking for a seasoned ServiceNow Portal Expert to join a team doing truly impactful work - helping modernize spectrum management systems across the federal government. About the Work: This program is at the forefront of transforming how the federal government manages its spectrum systems portfolio. You'll be helping drive that transformation through smarter technology, enhanced automation, and improved interoperability. It's challenging, meaningful work with real-world impact. What You'll Be Doing: You'll be the go-to technical authority on all things ServiceNow. That means leading the architectural design of complex solutions, building and refining custom Service Portals, and creating widgets that make users' lives easier. You'll work with AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to bring those portals to life, while also configuring workspaces, automating workflows, and managing XML data integrations with external systems. Beyond the hands-on technical work, you'll serve as a mentor to junior team members, lead code reviews, collaborate with both business and IT stakeholders, and contribute to proposals and white papers. If you enjoy wearing multiple hats and being the person others turn to when things get tricky, you'll feel right at home here. A Few Things to Know About This Role: This is a remote position, but you should be comfortable making occasional trips to Washington, DC for in-person meetings. A Secret clearance is required. What We're Looking For: We need someone with at least 12 years of related experience and deep, proven expertise in ServiceNow development and architecture. You should be confident working across the full platform - portals, workspaces, CMDB, ITSM, integrations, and beyond. Strong communication skills matter just as much as the technical ones here, since you'll regularly bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training is required. A Master's in Computer Science or a related field is a plus. Certifications: You'll need an active ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification - or be ready to obtain both within 30 days of starting. Additional ServiceNow certifications are a strong advantage. If you're a ServiceNow veteran who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and wants to make a real dent in how the federal government operates, we'd love to talk! 170-185k Benefits At Aperio Global, we understand the value of investing in our most important asset-our employees.
