About the Role As a Freelance Infusion Nurse, you will provide expert IV therapy and infusion services at skilled nursing and rehab facilities. This role requires mobility, with visits scheduled according to facility needs. Our nurses work autonomously, receiving mileage reimbursement and comprehensive clinical support. Key Responsibilities Administer IV medications and specialty infusions in skilled nursing and rehab facilities. Monitor patient responses and manage IV-related reactions according to established protocols. Maintain and access existing vascular devices (peripheral IVs, ports, PICCs - note that line placement is not required). Perform therapeutic injections (IM/SQ) as prescribed. Educate patients about treatment plans and care expectations. Document treatments electronically and communicate updates to healthcare providers. Ideal Candidate Profile Current RN license in Texas. Minimum of 1 year of IV infusion or specialty infusion experience. Self-assured and comfortable working independently in field settings. Active BLS certification. Possess a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle. Comfortable using mobile devices for documentation and navigation. Schedule & Flexibility We offer PRN and part-time positions, with opportunities for: Part-time: 2+ shifts per week. PRN: Flexible scheduling as needed.
