Vice President of Engineering for Electric Utilities About the Company Join a leading engineering and consulting firm that specializes in power and utilities. Industry Management Consulting Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President of Engineering for Electric Utilities who will be instrumental in driving strategic growth initiatives. In this critical leadership position, you will spearhead efforts to expand our clientbase, pursuing new revenue opportunities and establishing long-term partnerships with investor-owned utilities. You'll leverage your strong technical background in substation design, protection/control, relay settings, and transmission line engineering to mentor and elevate our engineering team while helping to shape the direction and long-term strategy of the company. Your role will involve building robust systems, teams, and processes to guarantee quality and excellence in our services. As a prominent member of the senior leadership team, you will balance technical expertise with effective commercial leadership and team management. We seek a candidate who possesses a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years in an engineering leadership role within the utilities sector. Your high emotional intelligence will be critical as you focus on mentorship, maintaining clarity, and boosting team morale. We're looking for a candidate with demonstrated commercial acumen, experience in P&L oversight, and a track record in business development. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential, with a PE preferred. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and be prepared for the exciting challenge of leading one of our key growth areas in a flexible, people-first workplace.
