Senior and Lead Relay Technician - High Voltage

Specializing in turnkey power substation construction, we provide stable, year-round employment opportunities without out-of-state travel. We are currently hiring experienced relay professionals for full-time positions at our locations in Ocala and Kissimmee, Florida. AVAILABLE POSITIONS: We are looking for both Senior and Lead Relay Technicians. Candidates for the Senior role must have at least 7 years of relay experience, while the Lead role requires a minimum of 10 years. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Commitment to safety and human performance standards Familiarity with NERC CIP rules, compliance, and document management In-depth understanding of HV Generation, Transmission, and Distribution apparatus operations, protections, and controls Expertise in the use of relay protection testing and test record analysis Experience with Electromechanical and Numerical relay operations and testing Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Electric Substation Construction, testing, and commissioning Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical prints and schematics Willingness to travel within the state of Florida Exemplary team player with strong communication skills Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus COMPENSATION: Hourly rates are $55-62 for Senior Technicians (7+ years of experience) and $65-77 for Lead Technicians (10+ years of experience). This role comes with a full benefits package including medical, vision, dental insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. PER DIEM: Per diem compensation is provided for travel-related expenses.
