As a Finance Business Operations Specialist, you will take charge of product P&L, lead forecasting and planning efforts, and generate strategic insights to inform key business decisions. This role blends finance, strategy, and analytics, with a strong emphasis on process management and continual improvement. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough financial analysis to support and shape critical business investment decisions. Offer analytical support and generate actionable insights throughout the entire product development cycle, from conception to launch. Facilitate data-driven decision-making by analyzing strategic investments related to wearable products, including potential partnerships, licensing, and M&A opportunities. Develop and manage Product P&Ls by understanding cost factors and long-term strategic implications for wearable offerings. Provide insights through scenario-based P&L modeling, highlighting risks and opportunities in the wearable product landscape. Lead ad hoc strategic and operational projects aimed at improving processes and identifying cost-saving measures. Cultivate strong business partnerships across various functions within the Wearables team, including product, hardware engineering, software development, marketing, and sales. Create comprehensive financial reports for leadership and spearhead executive discussions to enhance financial decision-making for wearable products. Minimum Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience in business strategy, finance, or management consulting. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related analytical discipline. Experience with data analytics, data visualization, and scenario-based analysis, particularly in wearable technology or consumer electronics. Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives with stakeholders, including product leaders, marketers, and operations teams. Strong skills in financial modeling using Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated communication skills with a history of engaging effectively with executive leadership and product managers. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth technology firm. Public Compensation: $103,000/year to $154,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
