Join Perkins Coie as a Marketing Strategist for Practices & Sectors! We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Strategist to spearhead marketing and business development initiatives, particularly focusing on the Energy sector and Data Centers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our attorneys to enhance client engagement, bolster market presence, and drive revenue growth in alignment with firmwide goals. Key Responsibilities: Support the execution of strategic marketing plans that boost client relationships and uncover new revenue opportunities. Act as a strategic partner to practice and sector leaders, helping to shape and implement effective marketing and business development strategies. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a high-performance environment centered on client service. Collaborate with various marketing and business services teams to create integrated, data-driven initiatives. Essential Functions Include: Lead the creation and execution of annual marketing and business development plans for your assigned practices and sectors. Transform sector goals into clear, actionable initiatives complete with deliverables, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Deliver recommendations based on client feedback, market research, and competitive insights. Serve as an advisor to practice group attorneys, offering insights based on market intelligence. Business Development & Campaign Management: Oversee the development of thought leadership content, marketing campaigns, and client events in collaboration with sector leadership. Assist in shaping pursuit strategies, including the development of pitches, proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFIs. Coordinate submissions for directories and awards that align with our marketing objectives. Market Insights & Performance Measurement: Track and analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and client feedback, summarizing findings effectively. Regularly report on the performance of initiatives and suggest enhancements. Monitor key metrics, return on investment (ROI), and progress against strategic goals to recommend data-driven adjustments. Innovation: Champion marketing technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency and client value. Willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned. Maintain regular working hours and be present at work as needed to meet the role's demands. Qualifications: 8+ years of significant experience in marketing, business development, or strategy within legal or professional services. Strong organizational skills, with proven project management capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships and influence stakeholders.
