About the Role: The General Manager of Restaurant Operations at Taco Bell is the driving force behind our team’s success, setting the tone for the work environment while delivering exceptional customer hospitality. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire restaurant operation and building a cohesive team that consistently provides delicious food and a welcoming experience. Your key duties will include recruiting, training, and developing staff; conducting new hire orientations; and creating comprehensive training plans. You will also manage staff scheduling, address performance issues, resolve customer complaints, and handle the restaurant's budget and financial strategies. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership and communication abilities, a history of developing team members, and a positive outlook. Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required for clear communication with customers and team members. Your Daily Responsibilities: Recruit top talent, onboard new hires, and conduct engaging orientations to build a well-prepared team. Create a comprehensive training plan and mentor Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Member Trainers, ensuring effective training delivery. Acknowledge and reward outstanding Team Member performance regularly, fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging. Promptly address and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Engage with customers directly and swiftly resolve any issues to ensure a memorable dining experience. Strategically schedule staff to optimize service delivery, coach management on CHAMPS standards, and lead product rollout meetings for successful implementation. Analyze financial performance, manage the budget, and develop strategies to maximize profitability while enhancing customer satisfaction. Stay informed of competitors and strive to exceed their standards in all areas, including digital engagement and loyalty programs. Are You the One? 5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management with a strong focus on people management. Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvements through P&L analysis. Proficient in leveraging digital tools and platforms effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
