Enjoy competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, and Vision) 401(k) Plan Life Insurance and Disability Coverage Incentive Opportunities About the Role As the Trade Compliance Manager, you will oversee the operations of a GXO Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) site, ensuring full compliance with Customs and Department of Commerce regulations. This role includes managing daily FTZ transactions, conducting inventory reconciliation, performing internal audits, and maintaining communication with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and customers. Strong leadership, analytical, and collaborative skills are essential to uphold compliance while supporting our business objectives. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance within the GXO FTZ, managing transaction processing and maintaining regular communication with CBP. Manage inventory reconciliation, conduct internal audits, and ensure precise filings, documentation, and reporting for FTZ activities. Address and resolve inventory discrepancies, commercial documentation issues, and inquiries from customers or CBP. Update and maintain FTZ operations manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure readiness for software changes or upgrades. Develop training for staff on FTZ procedures, export compliance, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration among departments. Drive process improvements, lead change management for system enhancements, and ensure annual reports and declarations are completed timely. Qualifications for Success at GXO To qualify, you must have: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience 5 years of experience managing or administering a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) In-depth knowledge of customs entry, international transportation of goods, and import/export processes; expertise in FTZ and CBP regulations. Strong analytical skills, excellent customer service, attention to detail, time management, and team-building abilities. Professional communication skills, both written and oral, along with proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
