Summary: Join our dynamic UX Research team, where we are committed to understanding the diverse needs of users across the globe through innovative research. Our passionate researchers tackle complex challenges to uncover insights about human behavior and how people interact with technology and each other. We strive to create impactful products that enhance the experiences of billions. This position reflects various full-time roles within Meta. We utilize a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys, focus groups, field studies, usability tests, and one-on-one interviews. We embrace a range of perspectives and backgrounds, seeking communicators who are well-versed in research focused on understanding people and are keen to explore the technology-society relationship. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with product and business teams to identify and address relevant research topics. Serve as a thought leader in research, advocating for user needs and experiences. Design and implement custom primary research projects using diverse methods. Conduct studies that explore user behavior and attitudes comprehensively. Work independently, demonstrating autonomy and initiative in research activities. Manage and prioritize research plans in a fast-paced, evolving environment, aligning with stakeholders and executing insights effectively. Communicate research results compellingly, visually illustrating findings and recommendations. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing teams. Generate insights that inspire ideation and evaluate design concepts. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in user experience, applied research, or product research and development; or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience; or a PhD with 5+ years of experience. Proven experience in conducting in-depth interviews, focus groups, concept testing, or usability testing. Demonstrated interest and experience in conducting hands-on primary research. Ability to translate research findings into strategic narratives effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Degrees in human behavior-related fields such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics. Experience with consumer products, consumer insights, and product development processes. Public Compensation: $164,000/year to $227,000/year plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
