Director of IT Audit

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of IT Audit to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $180,000 to $230,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Lead SOX testing and develop, own, and plan the IT SOX testing program and timeline. Identify, enhance, and implement SOX audit procedures, testing attributes, SOX training courses, and SOX automation tools. Deliver metrics internally to the VP, Internal Audit to ensure SOX efforts are on target for timely completion. Interface with external auditors frequently during SOX testing and serve as the primary point of contact. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the SOX compliance program, including the use of analytics and continuous monitoring. Requirements: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Exhibit a hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Show extreme attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related areas. 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably including Big 4 or internal audit within a publicly traded organization. Possess experience in a leadership role and managing/developing others. Hold professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent.
