Requirements: Minimum of 18 months experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care environment. High School Diploma or completion of an accredited Operating Room Technologist course or equivalent training. Current BLS Certification and National Certification required. Duties and Responsibilities: The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in assisting the clinical staff by performing various essential support functions, ensuring a smooth surgical experience for patients while providing necessary comfort, hygiene, and simple treatments. Prepare operating rooms timely for surgical procedures and support the team by taking on additional tasks as needed. Be accountable for personal practice, performing duties under the supervision of the registered nurse circulator and appropriately delegating tasks to enhance patient care. Communicate effectively with other care providers (physicians, nurses, unit staff, business office, and medical records) to ensure continuity of patient care and meet the needs of our valued customers.
