Description Location: UCHealth CeDAR, US:CO:Aurora Department: CeDAR Residential Care Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in Psychiatry at UCHealth CeDAR, where you will provide exceptional direct patient care within a behavioral health setting. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule with shifts on days, allowing you to contribute your expertise while maintaining a work-life balance. Pay: $37.06 - $57.44 per hour, commensurate with experience. Summary: In this role, you will provide proficient nursing care in line with established standards and policies to optimize patient outcomes. You will monitor patient safety and contribute to a supportive environment that promotes healing. Responsibilities: Take proactive measures when patients exhibit adverse symptoms. Utilize nursing protocols to effectively respond to patient care needs. Provide psychiatric nursing to diverse and complex patient populations. Manage critical situations with efficiency, composure, and decisive actions. Demonstrate strong critical thinking and judgment skills while working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred. Current State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). A minimum of 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid at the time of hire.
