Travel LPN / LVN - Correctional - $1,490 per week

GQR Healthcare is seeking a LPN / LVN Correctional for a travel job in Beeville, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Correctional Discipline: LPN / LVN Start Date: 04/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Day Shift: #768829 Length: 13 weeks but will be continuous employment. (aka extensions)  Shift: Days ONLY Hours per week: 36/48 weekly rotations OT: Eligibility to work OT Is available contingent on performance Based on:  Call - ins Punctuality Unexcused absences Cannot have 5 or more consecutive shifts (this will not be approved.) Cap at 60 hours total or 20 hours OT.  Float Requirements: Will be asked to float as needed. They will float to different units that are within 10 - 30 minutes of each other. They would be compensated through the facility for drive time up to 30 minutes with a punch correction. (Clock in once they arrive at their scheduled unit before they are asked to divert to cover the expense) Nurses could be floated or diverted within 50 miles of the unit they are assigned to work with Rarely could be transferred mid-shift but could be Miles to/from home are not considered Refusal to float or divert is considered a DNR Status Google Maps is their friend! Satellite view Their home base (where they live) is not considered Scheduling:  IMPORTANT: Monthly schedules are subject to change and rotations are NOT guaranteed. Scheduling is NOT done at the unit level. Work week is Saturday – Friday, this is how OT is calculated   Certs: BLS, IV Therapy Cert LVN must have IV Therapy Certification with a signed off skills checklist License: Compact or Texas LVN Experience: Min 1 year Med Surg Acute experience required, with 2 years of LVN experience  Nursing Requirements Direct from Client:   Thick skinned Independent Does not participate in internal issues and gossip Successful in a Fast paced environment  COVID Vaccine Requirement: Required but exemptions are accepted   Shy With GQR here with LVN Corrections openings across TX – Huntsville, Palestine, Beeville (Days ONLY), Dickinson!!
