Facility Maintenance Specialist

Your Purpose YouFit Gyms is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure our space is always clean, safe, and inviting for our members and guests. This vital role is crucial for maintaining high cleanliness and operational efficiency standards, ultimately contributing to an exceptional member experience. What You'll Do Maintain the cleanliness of all areas, including restrooms, locker rooms, workout spaces, and common areas. Clean and sanitize fitness equipment, including cardio machines, strength training equipment, and free weights. Empty trash bins and restock supplies, such as paper towels, soap, and disinfectant sprays. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across all areas to ensure a hygienic and safe environment. Quickly address emergency cleaning situations, including spills and biohazard conditions. Monitor and report maintenance issues, such as plumbing problems or broken fixtures. Perform minor repairs like replacing light bulbs and tightening fixtures. Adhere to daily and deep cleaning schedules, ensuring all sanitation checklists are completed. Interact professionally with members and staff, addressing cleaning-related concerns. Collaborate with the team to create and maintain a well-kept gym environment. What We're Looking For Must be 18 years or older. Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English; fluency in multiple languages is a plus. Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or maintenance roles is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete tasks. Willingness to safely use cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment, following company guidelines.
