The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of investment cast turbine blades and vanes. You will conduct thorough visual and basic dimensional inspections, ensuring that all manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, EDM, waterjet cutting, and snag operations are completed accurately before components are shipped. This position is crucial for meeting Aerospace & Defense customer standards, AS9100 requirements, and our internal quality expectations while guaranteeing timely deliveries. Ensure parts meet internal specifications and customer standards with respect to condition, workmanship, and surface finishes. Utilize gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools to confirm dimensional accuracy. Review manufacturing documentation to ensure all processes are validated and fulfilled. Identify, document, and report any nonconformances or discrepancies to Quality or Production leadership. Handle parts with care to prevent damage, foreign object debris (FOD), or mix-ups. Maintain traceability and part identification in accordance with AS9100 standards. Follow all quality procedures, safety regulations, and maintain a clean workspace (5S). Support timely shipping by promptly releasing conforming parts and escalating concerns as necessary. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: High school diploma or GED. Able to read and comprehend written work instructions and manufacturing documentation. Strong attention to detail with a knack for identifying defects and workmanship issues. Willingness to work on the manufacturing shop floor. Basic computer skills for reviewing electronic travelers and inspection records. Prior experience in manufacturing, inspection, or aerospace environments is advantageous. Familiarity with investment casting and turbine components is a plus. Basic understanding of CNC machinery, EDM, waterjet cutting, or finishing processes. Experience with AS9100 or Nadcap quality systems is preferred. Ability to stand, walk, and inspect parts for extended periods. Capability to lift and handle parts weighing up to 50 lbs, using proper lifting techniques. Visual acuity for meticulous inspection of fine details. Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions, including noise, metal parts, and shop equipment. Princeton Precision Group adheres to all applicable export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Most positions require access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information. Therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents (green card holders), or otherwise classifiable as U.S. Persons in accordance with relevant regulations. Compensation details: $18-$20 Hourly Wage
