We're Looking for a Home Health Aide (HHA): As an HHA, you will be responsible for providing care one-on-one for seniors. It is highly dependent on the individual's special needs. When it comes to caring for the elderly, it's important to keep in mind that caregiver duties vary and being able to adapt and respond are important. Are You Ready to Make an Impact? Schedule: Part time available (7am - 3pm & 3pm-11pm) What we offer: 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and PTO cashout program Chime MyPay at Work pay advance An exceptional work environment that is both engaging and fun Here are a few of the daily responsibilities: Review and follow the nursing care plan and assignment for each resident daily. Respond to all emergency situations, following appropriate policies and procedures. Assist residents with their activities of daily living: showering, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene and provide assistance with any supportive equipment. Assist and safely transfer residents from bed to chair, as well as, assisting with ambulation, as needed. Provide a pleasant, quiet and safe (home-like) environment for residents, visitors and staff. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Successful completion of a Certified Home Health Aide program and licensure by the State of New Jersey. Certification in CPR, AED and First Aid TRAVEL: No travel is expected although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions. All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
