The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, REST APIs, multithreading, and Spring frameworks, along with experience building scalable, cloud-ready applications.Key ResponsibilitiesExperience Required: 6+ YearsDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java.Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend components.Work with multi-threaded and high-concurrency systems.Apply design patterns and best coding practices in everyday development.Develop microservices using Spring / Spring Boot.Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Architecture teams for deployments and scaling.Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical solutioning.Required Skills6+ years of backend development experience using Java.Strong hands-on experience with:REST APIsReactive programming (RX)MultithreadingDesign PatternsSpring / Spring BootSolid understanding of scalability, distributed systems, microservices, and high-availability systems.Experience working with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps tools.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.Preferred SkillsAmerican Express (AMEX) project experience (highly preferred).Experience in IBM environments or financial services.Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and API gateways.
