As the Assistant Managing Director of Corporate Group Sales, you will play a key role in generating additional revenue through our meetings and events business. This position blends direct sales responsibilities with team leadership, offering you the chance to significantly impact Hilton’s relationships with corporate accounts. Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategic Accounts and Corporate Group Sales, you will oversee a team of four direct reports while managing a portfolio of corporate accounts specifically focused on meetings and events. Your leadership will enhance account relationships and strengthen Hilton's presence in the corporate events space. IMPACT OF YOUR ROLE Your contributions are significant, and here are some key responsibilities that will define your work: Coach and mentor a team of four Group Sales Directors specializing in meetings and events. Manage a portfolio of high-value corporate group accounts within the Americas region. Develop strategic group sales plans focused on increasing revenue and enhancing client relationships. Work closely with on-property sales teams to ensure seamless execution of events. COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS You will engage with various stakeholders in the following ways: Partner with Hilton Direct, hotel sales partners, and brand teams to create comprehensive client solutions. Encourage a dynamic coaching culture while maintaining high team morale. Represent Hilton at industry events and client meetings to establish executive-level relationships. Collaborate with account teams and global counterparts to maintain alignment and consistency in customer engagement. KEY DELIVERABLES You'll take ownership of several important outcomes: Achievement of personal and team revenue targets. Creation of group sales plans and conducting quarterly business reviews. Forecasting and analyzing the performance of the meetings and events pipeline. Development plans for team performance and evaluations. QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS To thrive in this role, you should have the following qualifications: A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience. At least eight (8) years in hotel/travel sales and/or account management. Relevant experience in leading a team of direct reports. Proven experience managing high-value corporate accounts in hospitality or travel. Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time for this remote position. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Additional useful qualifications include: A BA/BS Bachelor's Degree. Experience using Salesforce and Delphi or similar CRM and sales management systems. Experience in the Technology vertical. Background in meetings and events.
