The cyber professional services team conducts detailed technical assessments, compliance checks, and governance strategies for clients. Our extensive range of cybersecurity services includes physical security, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and adherence to key frameworks such as CJIS, CIS, ISO, and NIST. Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Cybersecurity Offensive Security Specialist to deliver expert consultancy in cybersecurity. In this role, you'll assist clients in evaluating the strength of their cybersecurity measures across diverse platforms including Enterprise, Public Safety, P25, E911, Computer Aided Dispatch, Fixed Video, and FedRAMP networks. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth web application penetration tests with expertise. Leverage open-source penetration testing tools while mimicking hacker techniques as necessary. Develop comprehensive reports and presentations that cater to various audiences regarding penetration testing results. Have experience with security assessments for major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Understand cloud security models including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures. Apply the MITRE ATT&CK framework to analyze adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Manage approximately 3-4 assessments per quarter, with each assessment lasting 1-2 weeks, ensuring 70% billable utilization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience (5+ years in a Cyber role). Must possess at least one relevant certification (Pentest+, CEH, OSCP, OSWE, or GPEN). 2-5 years' experience in at least three of the following areas: Network penetration testing and infrastructure manipulation. Web application penetration testing. Conducting social engineering assessments via email, phone, or in-person. Scripting or automation using Perl, Python, or Ruby. Creating or modifying exploits, shellcode, or exploit tools. Programming languages such as C#, ASP, .NET, Objective C, Go, or Java (J2EE). Reverse engineering malware or security vulnerabilities. Source code reviewing for security weaknesses. Proficient in tools for wireless, web application, and network security testing. Strong understanding of network protocols and operating systems (Unix/Linux/Mac/Windows). Preferred Skills: Advanced certifications (CEH, Pentest+, OSCP, OSCE, OSWE, or SANS). Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. Exceptional client interface skills. Excellent documentation and communication abilities for conveying technical information clearly. Experience incorporating Artificial Intelligence into penetration testing workflows. Capability to manage multiple tasks and effectively lead a team. Target Base Salary Range: $100,000--$110,000 USD. Salary is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Basic Requirements: High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance as needed by government clients. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position. Benefits: Incentive Bonus Plans.
