Exciting Opportunity for a Traveling Onsite Project Supervisor in Structural Steel! A leading structural steel organization is seeking a dynamic Traveling Onsite Project Supervisor to spearhead steel erection projects across various locations in the Eastern and Midwest U.S. This role is perfect for an experienced Project Manager, Foreman, or Erection Manager with a solid background in field coordination. Key Responsibilities: Oversee on-site structural steel erection activities with a focus on safety and efficiency. Coordinate schedules, sequencing, and deliveries with subcontracted erectors to ensure seamless operations. Participate in daily and weekly meetings with the General Contractor/Construction Manager to discuss progress and challenges. Monitor project progress and ensure erection work aligns with schedule expectations. Act as the primary on-site contact for all steel-related activities, fostering effective communication among teams. Ideal Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in the structural steel industry. Proven track record as a Project Manager, Foreman, or Erection Manager. Experience across various project types, including commercial, industrial, distribution, and data centers. Strong understanding of steel erection methods and practices. Ability to work autonomously on active job sites, demonstrating leadership and initiative. Travel Requirements: This role requires 100% travel on-site. Projects located in NC, VA, PA, SC, IL, NY, OH, TN. Hotel accommodations provided near project sites. Home travel typically once per month. Compensation: Salary range of $100,000-$130,000 (depending on experience). Per diem provided, varying by location.
