Manage CIP replacement and rehabilitation projects at a wide range of facilities and locations. Lead planning, design, and construction ventures for water and wastewater projects. Develop project scopes and deliver cost estimations for long-term planning initiatives. Engage in procurement and facilitate construction contract administration. Conduct technical reviews of design plans and specifications to ensure accuracy. Coordinate design and construction activities with customers, operational staff, and other departments. Integrate final construction documents into Work and Asset Management systems. We're looking for the ideal candidate who has... Profound knowledge of engineering principles relevant to municipal water infrastructure projects. Extensive understanding of construction methods, materials, and practices used in such projects. Preferred Qualifications Three years of experience in the civil engineering or architecture field or a related area. A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline. Three years of experience in water/wastewater engineering design, plan review, inspection, construction or project management. Expertise in managing consultants and contractor staff for major Capital Improvement Projects or sizeable private industry projects. Current Arizona Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
