Job Overview Tanaq Technical Services (TTS), part of St. George Tanaq (SGT) Corporation, is a distinguished 8(a) Alaskan Native Small Business specializing in providing Enterprise Integrated Technology Solutions for the Federal Government. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Full Stack Developer to support the housing sector through the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of the Chief Information Officer (HUD OCIO). Your role will involve the design, development, and deployment of innovative cloud applications that significantly enhance customer experience and efficiently serve vital missions. This position is fully remote, but candidates must be able to pass a federal background check and obtain a NACI clearance. Please note that applicants must reside in the United States. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain comprehensive cloud applications across the full stack, including frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations. Develop prototypes and proofs of concept, transitioning successful projects to a production-ready environment. Engage in Agile methodologies and participate actively in various project ceremonies. Help identify risks and contribute to status reporting and lessons learned documentation. Create and maintain technical documentation pertinent to projects. Implement secure coding practices, automated testing, and CI/CD principles to ensure adherence to industry best practices. Collaborate effectively with various teams to facilitate technical reviews and deliver impactful solutions. Necessary Skills and Experience At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development utilizing cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices. Expertise in frontend development with React.js and familiarity with TypeScript. Backend development experience using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or .NET, along with database management skills. Experience with cloud-native services and application deployment in cloud environments. Skilled in building and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs and managing third-party services. Strong understanding of security and scalability best practices for applications. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST. Experience working with AI/ML APIs and building applications leveraging LLMs, embeddings, and related technologies. Capability to integrate AI into workflows while complying with AI governance and data management standards. Experience in federal environments is a plus, with preference for HUD OCIO experience. Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Technical Skills Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#. Frontend frameworks: React (preferred), Angular, or Vue. Backend technologies: Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET Core, or Django/FastAPI. Database management skills with SQL/NoSQL technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB). Knowledge of cloud platforms, including serverless architectures and container management. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. Awareness of security practices, including authentication and data protection principles. Core Competencies Strong problem-solving skills and system thinking ability. Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative approach in Agile environments. A commitment to thorough documentation and continuous improvement. Education and Certifications A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field is required. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications are preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-related tasks.
