Sales and Customer Engagement Associate

Position Purpose: Join our team as a Sales and Customer Engagement Associate, where you will provide exceptional service by proactively assisting customers to meet their needs. Your role will involve gaining in-depth knowledge of our products through provided tools, allowing you to offer tailored information and sell complete project solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will learn effective techniques for greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing sales with customers. You will also be equipped to assist with foundational knowledge across adjacent departments. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining the availability and organization of assigned merchandise areas. Ensuring the sales floor is clean, safe, and inviting for shopping. Following all safety policies and standards to promote a safe working environment. Reporting any potential hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty immediately. Collaborating effectively with your Department Supervisor and fellow associates. You may find yourself engaged in various store departments, including Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental. Depending on the needs of the store, roles may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
