Our client is looking for a Senior Cloud platform Software Engineer Consultant with a Contract project in Scottsdale, AZ below is the detailed requirement. Job Posting Title: Senior Cloud platform Software Engineer Location: Scottsdale, AZ Contract Must Skills: AWS, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform We are looking for a software engineer to join our cloud platform team and help build scalable automated cloud solutions that empower development teams this role combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands on AWS experience and a DevOps mindset Job description: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with minimum 12+ Years of Overall IT experience Strong hands-on software engineering /application development experience -able to build services, components, APIs Strong experience with programming using Python, JavaScript or TypeScript (Any one of these) Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services to be able to design and build innovative solutions. Experience with Infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform) (Any one of these) Knowledge on Managed SQL and NoSQL databases Experience architecting applications or platform solutions Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Need more software experience Automated testing Should be able to write functions, script for automated testing The candidate needs to have coding / scripting experience on JavaScript or other scripting language Should be able to build a bunch of applications and not only migrate to cloud Nice to have CI/CD pipeline experience DevOps or platform engineering background AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing) AWS IAM and security best practices AWS Account Factory/Control Tower experiences Containers or Serverless architectures
