Tools We Use: Languages: Python 3, TypeScript Frameworks: FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, React, Remix, Next.js Datastores: Postgres, Redis Infrastructure: AWS (Fargate, ECS, S3, etc.), Spark, Kafka Monitoring: Datadog, PagerDuty, Sentry Version Control: GitHub Vulnerability Management: Snyk, Semgrep Cloud Security: Lacework About the Role As the Engineering Manager for Network Orchestration, you're needed to lead our team focused on developing the insights that enable insurance companies (payers) to better understand their networks. We are dedicated to ensuring that every patient receives care that meets their unique needs. In this role, you'll oversee the systems that segment patients and providers, providing a solid foundation for understanding patient requirements and effective care matching. Your leadership will facilitate improving care quality through enhanced visibility and a deeper comprehension of our network. This cross-functional, mission-critical role involves working alongside Product, Data Science, and Clinical teams to convert complex behavioral and clinical data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for mentoring and growing an engineering team, setting technical and operational roadmaps, and building scalable systems that enable personalized, data-informed mental healthcare. We are searching for experienced engineering leaders who possess a product-oriented mindset, are data-informed, and are excited about driving growth. Your Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and develop a team of 8+ engineers focused on enhancing payer visibility and patient-provider matching. Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Data to iterate swiftly through A/B testing. Drive alignment on processes, prioritization, and product outcomes within your team. Contribute to the growth of your team through regular 1-1s, mentorship, and constructive feedback. Support the professional development of aspiring engineering leaders within your team. Contribute to the broader company strategy and product roadmap. Your Qualifications: 3+ years' experience as an Engineering Manager in high-growth startups or scale-ups. 3-5+ years' experience as a Software Engineer. A solid product mindset and strong cross-functional relationships that drive effective outcomes. A robust technical foundation to guide your team's technical decisions. A proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams delivering notable business results through technical investments. Strong ability to collaborate across various teams and functions. Preferred: Experience with Python and React and familiarity with AWS infrastructure. Preferred: Experience developing AI-enabled products. Preferred: Experience in health tech or building user-facing products. BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field. Compensation and Benefits: The expected base pay range for this position is $198,050 - $233,000, adjusted for qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, performance-based variable compensation and equity grants may be offered depending on the level of the position.
