Automotive Parts Advisor

Compensation Pay Range: $11.00 - $17.00 The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums based on various criteria. The Automotive Parts Advisor will deliver exceptional service to retail and installer customers, while also supporting store management in achieving assigned tasks. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Promote and adhere to all company customer service programs. Greet and assist retail/walk-in customers in a friendly manner. Support managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers. Complete required company training relevant to the position. Answer customer phone inquiries following company policies, look up parts, quote prices, and recommend premium items. Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions, and manage exchanges or returns. Resolve customer complaints professionally. Assist with store maintenance, including stocking shelves and organizing merchandise. Handle various operational tasks, including shipping returns and conducting inventory counts. Operate store test equipment after training is completed. Provide specific in-store services for customers, where legally permitted. Drive a delivery vehicle as needed, meeting company driving eligibility standards. Perform other duties as assigned. SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Exceptional customer service skills. Capability to multitask effectively. Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts and sales. ASE certification. Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
