As a Contract Performance Lead, you will play a crucial role in enhancing GE's profitability through comprehensive management of contract performance, focusing on cost efficiency, safety, quality, timely delivery, and suppliers’ relationships. This role involves overseeing contract productivity and ensuring accountability among suppliers. You will spearhead operational strategies with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful outcomes for GE and our partners. Additionally, you will offer support in pre- and post-contract management, including terms & conditions compliance and claims management. The position requires strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to make informed decisions to drive results. Key Responsibilities Maximize contractual performance while maintaining strong supplier relationships within the Shared Hardware commodity. Take ownership of productivity for assigned contracts, focusing on cost reduction, income generation, and working capital improvements. Monitor existing contracts to assess performance against expectations, identify opportunities for improvements, and drive actions to enhance overall productivity. Ensure suppliers meet expectations in safety, compliance, quality, and delivery across all operational areas. Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supplier performance issues with structured problem-solving efforts. Act as the chief negotiator in major deals, engaging with sourcing, legal, finance, compliance, engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. Be accountable for contract approvals, awards, and authoring. Foster supplier relationships through regular business reviews, ensuring timely issue resolution. Serve as the liaison between internal teams and suppliers regarding assigned contracts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices aligned with industry trends. Encourage creative solutions within complex contracts to enhance commercial value generation. Evaluate the quality of information and address conflicting data through analysis. Utilize various resources to inform decision-making processes. Willing to travel up to 25% as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with at least 5 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sourcing/Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain, or Contract Management, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 9 years in similar fields. Adept analytical capabilities and a critical thinking approach. The base salary for this position ranges from 134,000.00 - 178,000.00 USD annually. Exact remuneration will depend on various factors including qualifications and experience. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
