Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Great opportunity for a Physician Assistant (PA) to work in an Orthopedic setting with a well respected healthcare facility in NE Connecticut about 1hr from Hartford, 45 mins from Providence and 1hr from Boston. Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA) Full-time, 40hrs a week Call 1:4 (phone) for clinic only (no OR call) Primarily OR and Inpatient focused, opportunity to participate in Ortho clinic if desired (optional) First Assist in Orthopedic surgical procedures, including joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopies, and sports medicine injuries Assist in OR for other surgical specialties as needed (e.g., general surgery, GYN, Urology, Thoracic, ENT) but 80% Ortho Round on Ortho inpatients, manage post-operative care, and assist in discharge planning Seeking candidates with at least 1-2+ years Ortho experience but also will consider with other Surgery experience Competitive salary, full benefits, sign-on and relocation negotiable, eligible for loan repayment, 401k w/ match, CME, 20 days PTO, 6 holidays, 5 sick days Job ID
