As a Lead SAP Application Consultant specializing in Order to Cash, you will leverage your extensive business process knowledge, industry insights, and expertise in SAP solutions to guide clients through successful SAP SD implementations. Your role will focus on understanding client needs and aligning SAP solutions with best practices to optimize business processes. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement and Consulting Build trusted relationships with clients to comprehend their business objectives and challenges. Facilitate workshops to showcase SAP best practices and gather business requirements. Serve as a trusted advisor on both SAP and business best practices within your area of expertise. Analyze current business processes collaboratively with clients to identify improvement opportunities and design future-state processes aligned with SAP best practices. Present solution options to empower clients’ decision-making processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business requirements needing seamless integration. Ensure SAP configurations align with defined business processes. Manage tasks assigned to offshore teams and junior consultants to deliver projects on time. Conduct thorough testing of configurations and developments before handing over to clients. Lead initiatives throughout all phases of the SAP Activate Methodology. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. Monitor progress and support risk identification and mitigation strategies. Exhibit strong active listening and empathy to fully understand client needs and expectations. Internal and Company-Facing Responsibilities Provide advisory services concerning SAP and business best practices. Mentor junior and associate-level consultants. Engage in continuous personal and professional development, setting annual goals. Support presales activities as needed and assist the project team during the Discovery phase to define project scope. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in SAP SD project implementation, particularly in solution design within variant configuration. In-depth knowledge of configurable materials, classes, characteristics, and dependencies. Experience in designing and maintaining configuration profiles, BOMs, and routings. Familiarity with object dependencies, including procedures, constraints, selection conditions, and preconditions. 2+ years of leadership experience in SAP SD implementation or production support. 2+ years of experience integrating with other process areas. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven track record as a Business Process Consultant or similar role focused on SAP projects. Strong knowledge of SAP solutions and modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA). Expertise in industry or business process modeling and documentation. Strong mix of technical acumen and the ability to guide clients effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead client sessions confidently. Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
