Job Description As a Registered Nurse under provider direction, you will provide essential nursing care to patients across diverse clinical environments. Your responsibilities will include utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate responses to health issues, following best practices and guidelines. You will report directly to a Practice Manager. Deliver office-based nursing care alongside providers. Assess physical and psychosocial needs of patients and their families, creating nursing care plans to ensure continuity of care. Communicate effectively with providers regarding patient needs and nursing assessments. Proactively take initiative for seamless patient care through ongoing training. Gather and document patient health information and assist with scheduling office visits. Ensure completeness of patient records by reviewing preoperative documentation and addressing any outstanding issues with providers. Exhibit independent nursing practice based on assessments and identified problems. Under provider direction, manage prescription call-ins and monitor patients' responses to medications. Maintain thorough documentation of patient assessments, progress towards goals, and response to treatment. Effectively triage telephone calls, providing timely and professional nursing interventions. Support patients and families with empathy, maintaining confidentiality and privacy at all times. Qualifications Must possess a current Connecticut RN License.
