Partner with a dynamic team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and caregivers to formulate seamless care strategies. Provide education to patients and their families, empowering them to continue support beyond clinical settings. Conduct occasional evaluations and interventions in inpatient settings, ensuring a continuous care experience. Preserve accurate and timely documentation according to all relevant guidelines. Engage in ongoing learning to stay abreast of industry advancements and establish collegial relationships. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist. Preferably holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based therapies for all demographics, with a comprehensive understanding of various speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
