Job DetailsShifts: day Location: Indianapolis, INMedical benefits-eligible first of the month following 30 days of employment. All other benefits-eligible first of the month following 90 days of employment.Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Health Savings Account Flexible Spending Account Life insurance Paid time off Employee Referral Program Vision insurance Position Overview: The People & Culture Business Partner is responsible for recruiting, payroll, employee relations and human resources legal compliance. Implements and administers employee policies and human resources procedures for 24/7 manufacturing plant with a 2/2/3 schedule. Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times. Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; Performs New Hire Orientation(s) Handles employee relations and exit interviewing. Assists with conducting employee related investigations and prepares reports. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual process improvement. Develops, conducts, and tracks employee and supervisor training. Assist with attendance tracking and leave administration. To perform this job successfully, must be able to perform each fundamental task listed above satisfactorily. Experience for Success: Must have a strong ability to manage and maintain confidential information. Must have strong knowledge in Leaves of Absence processes, ADA and FMLA. Must have the ability to learn the Company Punctuality and Attendance policy and administer attendance accordingly. Must be organized, accurate, detail oriented and able to monitor work for quality. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to multitask and work with changing priorities. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Must be a quick learner and self-starter, able to perform tasks with minimal supervision. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree, preferred. High School Diploma, or G.E.D., required. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources with leave administration responsibilities. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in recording information and running reports in HRIS, and timekeeping systems.
