Join Cardinal Health's Data Analytics Team: The Data & Analytics Function plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire analytics life-cycle to uncover insights that guide business decisions and reveal opportunities for competitive advantage. This team is responsible for managing analytic data platforms, implementing robust reporting/business intelligence solutions, and utilizing advanced quantitative modeling. As a Lead Data Analyst specializing in AI, you will leverage your business process knowledge, analytics skills, and cutting-edge AI capabilities to provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights. You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to create models, dashboards, automations, and decision-support tools that drive performance, efficiency, and responsiveness throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain dynamic dashboards, scorecards, and engaging data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent. Utilize SQL, Alteryx, Python, or other analytics tools to manage, transform, and extract valuable insights from complex datasets. Implement AI/ML techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, clustering, NLP, forecasting) to enhance decision-making and discover new opportunities. Streamline manual processes and develop scalable, repeatable data workflows that elevate efficiency and data quality. Engage with cross-functional partners to gather requirements, interpret business needs into analytical solutions, and adapt to changing priorities. Effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and compelling data storytelling. Contribute to the improvement of data platforms, analytics processes, and governance frameworks. Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices across the analytics team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business) or equivalent experience. 8-12 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related area preferred. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with at least one analytics or automation tool (e.g., Alteryx, Python, R). Experience with AI/ML concepts and tools (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Azure ML, or similar). A track record of translating business inquiries into analytical solutions. Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar tools. Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Ability to independently manage complex, high-impact projects with minimal supervision. What to Expect at This Level: Utilizes advanced knowledge of analytics methods, tools, and concepts to oversee a range of projects. Engages in the development of policies, standards, and procedures that foster analytics excellence. Proposes innovative practices, processes, metrics, or models aimed at enhancing business performance. Leads or significantly contributes to high-complexity, large-scale projects with enduring effects. Delivers innovative solutions that may set new benchmarks. Determines optimal approaches for new or ambiguous projects independently. Serves as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members. Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $150,100.
