The responsibilities of the Head of Rehabilitation Services include: Ensuring that all therapists deliver top-tier care to patients. Overseeing that all therapists maintain current licenses. Reviewing patient reports to assess rehabilitation progress. Holding a degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy along with relevant management experience. Thoroughly understanding rehabilitation goals and effectively conveying them to team members. Occasionally providing hands-on patient care as needed. Leading the development and execution of rehabilitation programs within the facility. Making key decisions regarding patient rehabilitation statuses and readiness for discharge. Mainly working in an office environment, with regular follow-ups and progress assessment meetings with patients. A typical work week for the Head of Rehabilitation Services comprises standard daytime office hours, complemented by opportunities for physical engagement in patient interactions.
