Nurse Director Interventional Cardiology and Oncology Services will lead an integrated service line spanning cancer care (infusion, oncology navigation, tumor boards), interventional radiology suites, and cardiovascular programs (cath/EP labs, noninvasive diagnostics, cardiology clinics) to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered outcomes while advancing growth and operational excellence. This role steers strategy, budgets, staffing, and regulatory readiness (TJC, CMS, CoC, ACC/IAC), standardizes evidence-based protocols, and elevates patient experience across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Daily responsibilities include rounding in infusion, IR, and cath/EP areas; leading safety huddles and throughput coordination; optimizing schedules and room utilization; reviewing dashboards and KPIs (quality, access, HCAHPS, door-to-balloon, radiation/contrast safety, CLABSI/CAUTI, falls); overseeing staffing, timecards, and payroll; driving supply chain efficiency and equipment uptime; partnering with physicians on pathway optimization and new program development; ensuring chemotherapy and hazardous drug compliance and radiation safety; conducting case reviews, incident follow-ups, and service recovery; facilitating multidisciplinary conferences; advancing continuous improvement, accreditation readiness, policies, and competencies; mentoring leaders and educators; collaborating with finance and revenue cycle for charge capture and denials reduction; and representing the service lines in executive, quality, and emergency preparedness committees to meet clinical, operational, and growth targets.
