IT Business Analyst for Project Controls and Delivery

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to support our global technology initiatives focused on finance and project-related business domains. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a crucial link between our business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, driving requirement gathering, estimation, and successful agile project delivery. Position Overview: This position will primarily focus on supporting Project Controls and Project Delivery efforts, ensuring that business needs in finance and project-based operations are effectively addressed through IT solutions. Key Responsibilities: Act as a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead, facilitating essential ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements. Lead engagement initiatives with customers and stakeholders to define solutions, prioritize tasks, and plan deliveries. Assist in estimation, roadmap planning, and backlog management in collaboration with product owners and delivery teams. Work effectively with global IT development teams across regions, accommodating various time zones. Partner with DevOps teams to support continuous delivery, release planning, and deployment activities. Translate complex business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions, driving successful delivery outcomes. Support initiatives related to finance systems and project-based business processes. Qualifications: Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in an agile environment. Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile delivery frameworks, and DevOps practices. Experience with finance-related and project-based business initiatives. Demonstrated ability to work with distributed global teams across multiple time zones. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills. Strong analytical skills with the capability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements. Experience in supporting estimation, planning, and delivery in collaboration with IT development teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in contract-to-hire roles or similar transition models. Scrum Master or Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent). Experience in large, matrixed or global organizations.
