Podiatrist for Senior Care Facilities

The MedServ Group is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Podiatrist to join our dynamic team! We are committed to providing exceptional care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities and are looking for a compassionate professional to make a difference. Position Overview: This part-time role requires a visit once a month, where you'll utilize your clinical expertise and personal skills to ensure our patients receive top-quality care. Compensation options include payment by CPT Code or a share of collections, with earnings ranging from $1100 to $1250 per visit. Podiatrist Responsibilities: Conduct thorough examinations of patients' legs and feet to diagnose relevant diseases. Treat injuries to the feet and legs, including fractures, corns, and calluses. Refer patients for foot and ankle surgeries when necessary. Prescribe medications for joint pain relief and custom foot orthoses to enhance mobility. Provide advice on foot care and promote general wellness practices among patients. Podiatrist Requirements: Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) and an active state license. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Strong knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with the elderly population. Compensation and Benefits: Engage with 7-8 hours dedicated to patient visits and necessary paperwork. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible options available. See 22-25 patients per visit, focusing on preventative care. Compensation options: Paid by CPT Code or 35% - 40% of collections ($1100 - $1250 per visit). All doctors operate as 1099 independent contractors.
