Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:RN - Med Surg Job Details:• Work on high acuity medical-surgical floor specializing in surgery trauma• Must be willing to work assigned shifts with no block scheduling available• Patient population includes spinal neuro trauma surgical patients, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic patients• Maintain 5:1 patient ratio with nursing support from technicians• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred• Minimum 2 years experience in specialty required• EPIC electronic health record system experience required• No RTO (refused time off) policy• Support services include phlebotomists and unit secretary coverage at night• Participate in nurse handoff process with ED nurses and admitting unit• Work with nursing support technicians to provide comprehensive patient care Facility:This major healthcare facility operates as a Level I trauma center providing comprehensive medical services to the community.
