Registered Nurse - Radiation Oncology

Job Summary (RN James Rad Onc - Days): - Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients in a radiation oncology setting - Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required - EPIC electronic medical record system experience required - No first-time travel nurses accepted - No set or blocked scheduling; self-scheduling requests considered prior to finalization - Orientation includes first week of dayshift (Mon-Fri) and second week of 36 hours on unit with a preceptor - Required certification: BLS - Preferred certifications: ACLS, ONS Chemotherapy Certification - Required skills: - IV therapy/infusions - Neutropenic precautions - Dysrhythmia interpretation - Tracheostomy care and management - Radiation safety precautions - Wound care - Symptom management
