In this job, you/u2019ll/u00a0join the Asset Data Management (ADM) team within System Planning & Engineering (SP&E), which is responsible for overall strategy and execution of electric asset data management. ADM is also responsible for developing strategy for creating a Digital Twin of our power grid./u00a0 This position will work with Operations, IT, and Information Governance to enhance systems that support SCE/u2019s digital twin of the electric grid, ensuring accurate data collection, timely processing, and accessibility for operations and planning. Additionally, this role will define which data needs to be collected and visualized to ensure relevant information is captured for various analytical purposes. Responsibilities Oversees customer fraud prevention activities, mitigates privacy incidents and misuse of customer information Develops and reviews information governance policies, standards, presentations, communications and trainings Develops materials for internal and external audits, external assessments and regulatory reporting for the management of company information Oversees and ensures projects align to information governance policies and standards Contributes to product assessments for emerging technology platforms and new service offerings Provides complex input to strategic business initiatives within the information governance practice Leads the coordination of data quality remediation plans where data fails to meet established Information Governance standards Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a Information Governance process framework that integrates with guidance, policies and processes Participates in business continuity policy development and process mapping Leads efforts to ensure the ongoing support and compliance of the corporate records and information management function and the Data Privacy program A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Ten or more years of experience with information governance and data management practices and processes. /u00a0 Preferred Qualifications Master/u2019s Degree in Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems, Engineering or relevant field Experience working with modular data platforms (e.g., Nvidia Omniverse) that leverage OpenUSD data for collaborative 3D applications and digital twin development Experience with sensing data, including photogrammetry and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), as well as point cloud classification and analysis GIS experience including analysis in ArcGIS Pro Experience developing business cases for new project proposals including quantifying the value of qualitative benefits Experience leading cross-functional project teams Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences Consulting on business issues, including analyzing collected data and SME feedback, developing action plans, and providing recommendations to stakeholders. Operational experience within the public utility industry Experience with Records Management Systems (e.g. SAP, Palantir/Foundry, ArcGIS, SAS) /u00a0 /u00a0 /u00a0 Additional Information This position/u2019s work mode is/u00a0hybrid./u00a0The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.
