Senior Tax Planning Specialist Hantz Group is a leading financial company dedicated to assisting individuals and businesses in achieving their financial aspirations. In this role, you will play a crucial part as we assist our clients in minimizing their tax liabilities. At Hantz Group, we believe in proactive tax planning, closely monitoring client tax situations throughout the year to provide timely tax projections ahead of their final tax return preparation. As a Senior Tax Planning Specialist, you will collaborate with Financial Advisors to devise financial strategies aimed at reducing clients' tax liabilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed tax analyses, preparing tax returns, and identifying opportunities that benefit your clients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth analysis of tax liabilities. Prepare accurate tax projections. Prepare and file various tax returns. Deliver engaging presentations to clients and prospects. Build and maintain a robust client base. Develop and market tailored tax plans. Participate in meetings and continuing education sessions for professional growth. Work collaboratively within a team to serve high-income and high-net-worth clients. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations. Represent clients before the IRS and state revenue departments. Complete other tasks as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet stringent deadlines. Strong sense of professional accountability and integrity. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership qualities. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 6+ years of relevant experience in preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Active Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license required. Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is mandatory. Experience with CCH Axcess Software is preferred.
