Temporary Digital Materials Coordinator Short Description This temporary position is being filled through a third-party payroll partner. The selected candidate will not be an employee of Under Armour. Purpose of Role As a Digital Materials Coordinator, you'll play a key role in Under Armour's digital and virtual transformation efforts. Your focus will be on the digitization of materials while effectively executing our strategy with cutting-edge tools and technology like Browzwear, Substance, Keyshot, Gen Ai, and Automations. In this role, you will expand our Digital Materials Library, enhance the cross-functional Digital Product Creation process, and improve collaboration between Apparel and Footwear material divisions. Daily management and new process implementation will be vital as we scale material production virtually. Your Impact Collaborate with Materials and Digital Product teams to enhance the virtual material toolkit for improved product creation. Create texture maps, shaders, and 3D seasonal materials, including repeatable patterns. Ensure accurate categorization of fabrics and conduct quality assurance of existing materials. Engage with global suppliers to establish virtual material creation standards. Assist cross-functional teams with digital sample quality assurance. Partner with IT on the continuous enhancement of the Virtual Material Library. Explore new technologies and processes to elevate current practices, including automation and AI. Additional duties may also be assigned. Qualifications Proficiency in 3D texture creation and rendering. Experience with software including Browzwear, Keyshot, and Substance. Ability to create 3D texture maps and patterns using Adobe Photoshop and other tools. Familiarity with flatbed material scanners and drape parameters. Exceptional visual and aesthetic creativity with a passion for photography. Understanding of apparel material types and their constructions. Knowledge of product and apparel creation processes. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. Commitment to innovation and lifelong learning in your field.
