Join Our Compassionate Community and Help Us Prioritize Health As the Associate Director of Actuarial Analytics and Forecasting, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and forecasting financial and economic data to support strategic and operational initiatives. Your expertise will help establish metrics, perform data analyses, and provide vital insights to business intelligence efforts. By understanding industry trends and market dynamics, you will forecast our organization's financial and competitive positioning across short, medium, and long-term horizons. Your responsibilities will ensure data integrity through the development and execution of processes and controls. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analyses, and devise cost-effective solutions for data discrepancies. You will lead efforts to resolve complex technical and operational challenges within our teams. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Providing support for national pricing forecasts and long-term projections Understanding the drivers behind assumption changes and evaluating their impact on financial forecasts Monitoring results to align with the objectives of other corporate teams Communicating the rationale behind forecast changes to senior leadership Owning bid assumptions, including substantiation support, desk reviews, and bid audits Facilitating the national bid assumption review process Overseeing emerging claims experience data reporting and evaluating actual versus expected differences Use Your Expertise to Make a Meaningful Impact Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), along with relevant advanced degrees, extensive work experience, and/or other professional certifications Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) Demonstrated leadership experience, having managed teams previously Proven ability to lead other human capital leaders Excellent communication skills Experience across multiple functions, such as modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving, or trending A passion for enhancing consumer experiences in a continuously improving organization Preferred Qualifications: Visionary mindset, capable of anticipating future business needs and preparing teams for challenges Effective influencer with the ability to advocate for business initiatives Talent-focused approach that integrates organizational effectiveness and culture High emotional intelligence Presence and comfort when engaging with senior leaders and across different departments Persuasiveness in communicating the trade-offs of business decisions and influencing audiences Additional Information: This is a remote position with occasional travel required for training or meetings at Humana's offices. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: The compensation range reflects an estimated starting salary for full-time roles, which may be adjusted based on location and individual qualifications. $156,600 - $215,400 per year This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on overall performance.
